Yana Parmar

Our little artist with a flair for jewellery making

Yana is a bright and creative student enrolled under the RTE (Right to Education)
scheme. She dreams of studying science and has a keen interest in jewelry
making, showcasing her blend of academic ambition and artistic talent.

Meet The Family

Yana's joint family, led by her father Nikunjbhai and mother Ramilaben, provides a resilient support system, with her younger brother Vihat growing up in the same environment of perseverance and learning.

NikunjParmar

Nikunjbhai previously worked as a painter but had to switch careers after the
challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. He now works on a contract basis at an
urban health center, earning 7,000 INR. A 12th-pass, he works hard to support
his family despite financial constraints.

Ramila Parmar

Ramilaben runs a small business renting chaniya cholis, earning 3,000–4,000
INR. A 10th-pass, she contributes to the household income while managing her
family responsibilities.

Vihat Parmar

Vihat, Yana's younger brother, is a cheerful and curious 3rd-grade student.
